Account information

We use Clerk to provide sign-up, sign-in and account management. Depending on your sign-in method, Clerk handles information such as your email address, profile details, credentials and sessions. If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Clerk handle that authentication connection.

Our application database stores an application user ID, your Clerk user ID, your display name, account role, authentication environment and account synchronization details. The application uses this information to associate your signed-in identity with your Ask Zappy profile. It does not copy your passwords, email address, authentication tokens or session credentials into that database.

Website analytics and cookies

The website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and interactions, such as question-bank navigation. Google Analytics can use cookies and collect information about your browser, device and website activity. Clerk also uses cookies or similar browser storage to support authentication and sessions.
